RAZ
Manchester, UKRaz is part of the new wave of exciting, fascinating, emerging young artists. Originally from Romania, he has moved to Manchester at the young age of 18 years old where he found the love for mixing and producing music, while also being an active person in the local scene. Since 2020, he has been running the creative hub and label Tamiras, while also crafting his sound within his productions. Later on, he has co-founded the vinyl only label Ventriloc. Over time, he acquired a unique sound diving into different sides of minimal and house, with inspirations from other musical genres such as jazz, soul and hip hop. Standing out in his productions are the rolling percussions, groovy basslines, intricate elements and sound effects which are all tying together into a harmonically compact groove. With his intelligent composition, dynamic vocals and infectious grooves that make standing still a near impossibility. Once the scene has come back to life in 2022, he has fully pushed through with his music by playing at various events enticing the crowd and rapidly gaining an interested audience for his sound. He has had various releases on different labels such as Puls Records, Micronica Records, Juuz Records, Hasu Music and many more. On top of that, he has released two own productions mixes which are a staple to his dedication for always producing new tracks, followed by the third unreleased own productions mix released on Into The Woods. Behind the decks, he has supported the likes of Suciu, Praslea, Mihai Pol, Hostox, Guy From Downstairs and Ali Demir, playing in different sides of UK, Romania and even in Iceland.
